Varahi Industries’ Horizontal Screw Conveyor is an efficient bulk-handling solution for transporting powders and granules. Rotating helical flights within a U-trough or enclosed O-tube move materials horizontally or at a slight incline—ideal for grains, powders, animal feed, and similar products.

The screw is mounted on a central shaft and driven by a gearbox–motor. Throughput depends on material properties and screw RPM; an optional VFD enables precise speed control to match process requirements. Simple, reliable, and low-maintenance for continuous operations.

Working Principle

Infeed

Bulk material enters the inlet/hopper and settles in the trough or tube.
Conveying

Rotating helical flights push material forward by screw action and friction along the housing.
